This is a type of malware (malware) that blocks access to data on a device. When ransomware infects a device, it either locks its screen or encrypts all the files on it. Ransomware can also use a network to infect other devices connected to the infected device. The attacker usually demands a ransom payable in digital currency (e.g. bitcoin), as this type of transfer is not trackable. The attacker usually imposes a deadline on the victim to pay the ransom. After this time, the attacker can increase the ransom amount or threaten the victim to destroy all their files so that they can never get them back.
Back up your Outlook accounts, emails, computer files or even your precious databases. Our 24-hour backup service gives you peace of mind.
Cloud storage is designed to access and share your files online. However, it does not protect your data from damage or loss. We therefore recommend an online backup solution, especially for sentimental or important data for your work. Our online backups automatically create copies of selected files, folders or even entire workstations. These copies are then unaffected by damage or malware attacks that might end up affecting the originals. Whatever happens to your data, you can restore it at any time.
